I injured my neck at work 5 months ago. i have 3 minor bulges and 1 pertruding. nothing is helping. any ideas

i had my 2nd mri last week. no change. both of my arms feel like they are falling asleep sometimes, and get tingley and kind of numb. i constantly have pain. but sometimes it gets much worse. i tried p.therapy, traction, chiropractic. The neurosurgeaon says the next step is steroid shots in my neck. he says there is no need for surgury. help!!!

    I guess they have checked for a pinched nerve….try putting a hot pack on your neck where the bulges are, and if you are going through workmans comp, talk to your supervisor about getting a second opinion.

    steriod injection could be helpful. there are also medications out there for nerve pain, neurontin, lyrica. I have had 2 epidurals in my neck and was on neurontin for several months this was 8 years ago and have not had any problems since.

    STEROID SHOTS ONLY HELP FOR A LITTLE WHILE… BEST THINGS ARE MEDS, PAINKILLERS WILL EASE IT….
